I. Presentation of the Fusioninventory plug-in for GLPI¶

FusionInventory for GLPI is an extension (plug-in) of GLPI allowing a direct connecion with FusionInventory's agents.
accessible functionalities from GLPI's interface are :

• discovery of the equipment conneted to the network
• equipment's interogation (inventory) throw SNMP
• hardware and software inventory of the computer on wich an agent is installed
• computer's wake on LAN

note: inventory and wake on LAN module are integrated in the agent.

Funcionality's list :¶

• HTTP or/and HTTPS dialog between plug-in and agent
• wake the agent from a distance and management of waiting action (inventory,network discovery, wake on LAN...)

• SNMP authentification's management :

• SNMP Version 1
• SNMP Version 2c
• SNMP Version 3 (uncrypted / half-crypted / crypted)

• SNMP patern's management (provided by the plug-in) : maping between SNMP's OID field of GLPI

• Information's recovery of switchs and their ports :

• Information's recovery of each ports (intern MAC, port speed, number of error, connexion's status, etc ...)
• Automatic connexion between ports and computers / switchs / printers / devices / IP phone

• recovery of printer's information :

• consumable state : cartridges / ### / ####
