Description

You can see that in the log :
Faulting application dmidecode.exe, version 2.10.3259.36888, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.3959, fault address 0x0003ec24.

Sometime an error windows open on the desktop.

the Win2003 hack works ok

The fix ( 1684308034c003855ca73fe4abfb644188b861b9 ) to disable dmidecode
on Win2003 works ok according to Jon Clarke.
We can close #379 for the moment even if a better fix is still welcome.

don't run dmidecode.exe on Win2003

dmidecode.exe generates segfault on Win2003. We ensure we are on Win2003+
Windows before the execution.

Is it possible to get an RDP connexion to that machine?

dmidecode.exe works ok on Walid Nouh Win2003 SP2.

I'm looking for a RDP access on a machine with a faulty dmidecode.exe.

Does executing dmidecode.exe directly works ?

Direct execution of dmidecode.exe first hang for some seconds and then die.

How does it die? Pop-up message? If so, are you willing to do some debugging?
