Description

Hi,

After a lot of install uninstall with several version of fusion (at least RC2 and 2.1.2-1)

When i try to use the .pkg file
file downloaded here :http://prebuilt.fusioninventory.org/stable/macosx-10.6-intel64/fusioninventory-agent_macosx-10.6-intel64_2.1.2-1.pkg.tar.gz
i got this error in french : "Fusion can't be installed because a more recent version is already installed"

the last time, i am sure i used the script unistaler.sh as root
/opt is empty
find / -name fusioninventory (not as root user)
doens't return anything
launchctl list|grep fusion
isn't any better

It's on my computer so i can do as many test as i want

good luck

I don't really understand how you got this error message
It tells you that a new version is installed even if it's not installed on the hard drive ?

sorry for being late
this message on the screenshot is all i got
i belive it's because a part of the instalation remains,
and the installation program belives the version is still installed because of it
that's why i searched any trace of fusion on my computer
